Arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi international airport.

You will be welcomed by your English speaking guide He will wait for you with a sign with  your name on in the Arrival Hall

Transfer to your hotel for a refreshment. (Rooms available at 2pm)

Set off in your private vehicle.

Visit of the complex of the Royal Palace.

Certainly the most beautiful building in the city, the Grand Palais, which hosts Wat Phra Kaew within it, represents the symbol of the Thai monarchy.

The interior of the Royal Palace is made up of a series of impressive buildings that are all different: temples, chapels, palaces, doors and walls of Thai architecture with their pointed roofs, sculptures adorned with gilding, murals, Mosaic of glass or porcelain ...

One of the temples, of inestimable value, is the Wat Phra Kaew,also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

This emerald Buddha, very small in size as only of 60 centimeters, is highly revered and considered the most important Buddhist site in Thailand

Discovery of Wat Pho, one of the biggest and oldest Buddhist temples in Bangkok. It houses the reclining Buddha, a highly revered statue of 45 meters long.

You will reach by foot the boat pier.

You will board a long-tailed privatized boat for a tour of the city canals, also known as "Klongs".

This pleasant river ride will take you to the flower market.

The "Klongs" have for long given the city the prestigious comparison of "Venice of Southeast Asia". Linked to a network of flowing rivers such as the Chao Phraya, they made up a commercial crossroad and gave way to the floating markets. Today, local people still rely on their traditions and a visit to this timeless district of Bangkok will allow you to delve into the heart of where it all began .

You will descend on the right bank of the river to the "temple of Dawn", known as the local Wat Arun, in the shape of a Khmer-style prang.

You will descend along the water to visit the flower market, called locally Pak Klong Talat, the largest fresh flower market in Bangkok and Thailand.

A real immersion with fresh, floral and colorful fragrances.

Stop off at the landing stage at the end of the visit.

Transfer back to your hotel via your private vehicle.

Transfer Erawan National Park in Kanchanaburi (3 hours drive)IMG_4996_opt.jpg

Erawan National Park is one of the best known and most popular in Thailand and Kanchanaburi. The waterfall consists of seven floors. It is very pleasant to bathe in its turquoise waters full of fish. To climb to its last floor and and back, it takes about 2 hours walking.

Transfer to the Resotel dock to take the boat shuttle to your hotel. (15 minutes)

Transfer to Ayutthaya (3h drive)

Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Siamese capital of the 14th century, was completely destroyed in the 18th century by the Burmese armies. Established on an artificial island, many vestiges are to be discovered on the site.

As :

  • Wat Phra Si Sanphet et Wat Mongkhon Bophit  that contains one of the largest bronze Buddhas in the country
  • Wat Chai Watthanaram, one of the most photographed sites of Ayutthaya thanks to its imposing central "prang" of the Khmer style of 35m high.
  • Wat Mahathat : a sandstone head of the Buddha, mysteriously entangled in the roots of a tree.
  • Wat Yaï Chaïmongkol: built in 1357 by King U Thong, the founder of the city

You will visit:

The palace of King Narai, ancient royal palace transformed into a museum. It was mainly used for the reception of foreign dignitaries. It includes a collection of various objects, paintings in the honor of the king, reception hall and stables of elephants (closed every Monday, Tuesday and public holidays)

Phra Prang Sam Yod, symbol of the heyday of the Khmer Empire.

Drive to Pitsanulok (3.5h drive)

Capital of Thailand for 25 years, during the reign of Ayutthaya’s King from 1448 to 1488, the city has long been an important center for political and strategic reasons.

With its urban Thai atmosphere, there are a few floating houses by the river.

Discovery of the city by the sublime Wat Phra Si Ratana Mahatat.

This magnificent temple is home to the gilded bronze statue of the Buddha Chinnarat, one of the most revered statues in the country after Wat Phra Kaeo in Bangkok.

It is one of the masterpieces of Sukhothai art. A glowing halo of flames encircles his head and torso, and two nagas protect him.

You will go cycling to explore the historical site of Sukhothai.

Founded at the beginning of the 13th century, it abounds with vestiges retracing the history of this city, still considered today as the first Siamese kingdom.

The site is dispersed in several zones

You will visit the beautiful monuments of the Central Zone (main area), illustrating the beginnings of Thai architecture and authentic to this day.

The great civilization that developed in the kingdom is dependent on many influences and ancient local traditions, and forged what is called the "Sukhothai style."

With mainly temples such as Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Sawai, Wat Sa Si, Wat Trapang Thong

You will go to the North zone, and visit the Wat Si Chum temple, a majestic temple that holds a magnificent Buddha.

Continue on the road towards Lampang (3.5h drive), a peaceful city where the magical beauty of the ancient kingdom Lanna lives.

Visit the Thung Kwian market, the hub of Lampang forest and non-wood products.

You will stroll through various stalls including the famous green chilli from northern Thailand, and many other marinated products in jars, as well as local OTOP craft products.

DAY 06 : CHIANG MAI - With Guide

Around 8am, your English speaking guide will come to meet you at the hotel.

Departure by private vehicle to Doi Suthep.

The hill that bears its name is dominated by a splendid temple, the Wat Phrathat, at 1,000 meters above sea level. It is reached by 350 steps framed by serpents and giant porcelain dragons.

Your afternoon will be devoted to the visit of the old city.

Visit of :

  • Wat Chedi Luang, which consists of an impressive chedi originnaly built in 1411.
  • Within walking distance is the Wat Phan Thao, whose viharn is built entirely of teak wood.
  • Wat Pra Singh, which owes its notoriety to Pra Singh (Lion Buddha); the most revered Buddha statue of the city
  • The local Market of Kad Warorot. The largest local market of Chiang Mai located by the Ping River and just a few steps away from the flower market.

You will walk with the help of your guide through its many stalls of traditional textiles Lanna, its fruits and vegetables, its stalls of typical dishes of the North region.

History, anecdotes and scenery will be the key words of this walk.

Back to your hotel and free time at leisure.

Transfer to the restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, return transfer to your hotel.

DAY 07 : CHIANG MAI - With Guide

At 8am, a local driver will meet you at the hotel

Transfer to Lisu Lodge located at Mae Taeng, at the North of Chiang Mai. (Around 1h drive)

Stop at the Araksa tea plantations .

Introduction on the history of tea and on the tea plantations of Araksa.

You will learn how to pick tea leaves and then observe how the leaves are manipulated in a traditional way.

Enjoy a cup of traditional thai tea.

Transfer to Lisu Lodge, located only a few minutes away.

Settle down and make the most of a homemade refreshment.

Lunch at the Lodge (Thaï specialities)

Your afternoon will be devoted to the visit of the village Lisu and its garden. You will also visit the house of the village shaman who will be delighted to share his knowledge about traditional medicines and Lisu beliefs.

End of afternoon free at leisure

Dinner at the Lodge : local specialities accompanied by local dancers.

DAY 08 : CHIANG MAI - With Guide

After breakfast, transfer to Mae Taman Camp.

Discover the camp, watch their demonstration and go on an elephant ride for about 45 minutes in the vicinity of the camp.

Bamboo raft for about 50 minutes on the Taeng River.

Transfer to the craft village of Sankampaeng (1.5h drive)

Visit Sankhampaeng to appreciate the diversity of the crafts of northern Thailand. This village 13 km from the city, is famous for its traditional and manual production of silk, cotton, lacquer ...

Chiang Mai's first-class cottons are of incomparable quality and can be adapted to any style of interior decorations, with the widest selection in Sankampaeng.

Return back to the hotel and free time.

Transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your domestic flight to Suratthani.

Once arrived at Suratthani airport, please head to  Phantip Travel counter.

Then, transfer by local bus to Don Sak pier.

Ferry departure at 5pm.

Arrival at Koh Samui at 6.30pm.

Once Nathon reached, you will be welcomed by the hotel’s driver. He will have a sign with your name upon it.

Transfer to the hotel and settle down in your room.
